DeviantART's system has changed in the last year making it easier to catch *art thieves.

Some people called it drama, but that was just a temporary block. According to this [link] <-(not longer there...), we are allowed to "call out" and talk about other members. If you didn't read it, here is a short bit "iv. We will no longer address issues involving personal journals; deviants are free to discuss other deviants in their personal journals (commonly termed “calling out” ). We will continue to address hate speech, etc in personal journals." What we do isn't 'Hate Speed', we don't Spam or Harass them either.

Okay, some of you have more problems, this club rules, or at least I try to do is NOT forwardly accuse the one who is on the list, if they/you found out your name is on the list, don't make a big deal, send a Note to this account and I will deal with it. I will Block those who spam our page with their thoughts about having people's name on the "list". I really don't care what you think. Read the rules before you say we are breaking any rules, so we can avoid what happen.

I don't think this club as an Administrator, I don't think myself as one, I just do this cause.

If I say "Art Thieves" it also means to say policy violation. I think that gets to some of them.

NOTE 1: If someone from the list has stopped the violation, I will gladly take the name down. I stated before I want to make the list smaller.
NOTE 2: I can only update as often as I get on, so don't rush on anything.
NOTE 3: Addressing on of the things above (and from a problem before) if you think I "target" a certain person, you are wrong. I make the list depends on what I find Newest to Oldest.
Note 4: I will add reasons why they/your work is there so you don't go crazy.
Note 5: that this new list is of editors. If you want any other violators, please look at the comments in the front page.

Traces ("levels of tolerance") don't let the toleration stop you from reporting traced/edited work <- which is still a big problem.

* Not Tolerated

• Reproduction is misrepresented as being something other than a copy of an existing work.
• The reproduction exactly duplicates an original work and the owner of the original work files a complaint.
• The reproduction targets a stock resource and violates one or more of the Terms and Conditions for use.
• The reproduction actually contains elements of the original (i.e. photo showing through paintover).

* Usually Tolerated

• The reproduction has been posted into a Fan Art Gallery.
• The reproduction has been posted into the Scrapbook area.
• The reproduction targets an element of pop culture (i.e. Anime screenshots or official video game content).
• The reproduction properly credits the original.

* Normally Tolerated

• The reproduction obviously copies an existing work but possesses noticeable and substantial differences.
• The reproduction obviously copies an existing work but is noticeably deficient in quality.
• The reproduction and the original bare only vague or broad resemblances to each other (i.e. poses, etc).

Our Mission: To stop people from policy violation.

I say now we are ONLY dealing with certain violations...Such as; Editing/ripping/tracing, stolen fanart, anime pictures. We DO NOT take care of Photo's, 3D images, pictures of celebrities. <- dA can do that themselves or other helpful people. Those following are reasons why I "go after" that type.

Anime pictures (mostly by famous people, and other artist on dA)
Fan Arts (who knows if there the one who really drew it?)
Edits/Tracing/Ripping (still a big problem on dA)

REPORT

When you see stolen art things you should do are... <- that is only for stolen art.

1. Contact the original artist; There may be chance the artist allows someone to use their work reference this FAQ [link]
2. Contact the one who stole the art, maybe you can talk sense into them.
3. Just report it with the information needed; "Please paste in the URL from your browser address bar (the http line at the top) and link directly to the page containing the example of the original artists work for comparison with the infringing ("stolen" or "ripped") work. If you cannot link directly to your evidence please provide a instructions on how to locate the evidence which you are providing.

In cases involving motion pictures, TV shows, celebrities, and other well known subjects you may omit this information, but please provide it whenever possible. Without sufficient information to make an accurate judgment no action being taken.

Please take the time to include the reason you are reporting the deviation. Clearly state why you are reporting the image and in the case of stolen or misused works please take the time to identify the source of the work whether by naming the original artist, professional supermodel, celebrity, or by providing additional links and information in order to assist in the identification process.
The more information you can provide the more helpful it will be to us during the review process." (or read the FAQ [link])

SUBMISSION Go ahead a make something for the club, we do more then just report. Just send a Note to the club or the admin =Cafe-Little-Heart if you do with:

* The name of the submission
* Category of the submission
* Decrition of the work
* Link to picture/text

RULES

* If you wish to send a Note about a theft for private matters, fill free too. <- This is for a private matter.

* Report any kind of violation you find <- on your own time.

* Try to help other members

* Don't bash/abuse/spam/threaten/hurt/ect. a violator (your better then that) No matter what a bi***/brat/ect. they are. Just report for harassment/block/spam there comment. <- seems we are being accused of this

* Another reason to report someone, if they are 12 and younger. (Go to the Help Desk and report as a Policy Violation) <- just for safety sake.
